Very simply, the point of this campaign is to get a town park for Greystones. We’re very grateful you’ve chosen to help us get there! We have three goals.

• First, we need to raise awareness. That means talking to people around us about the need for a park, getting them excited about the idea.

• Second, we want to crowdsource information to make sure that we’re meeting the needs in the communities. That’ll involve some workshops and collecting ideas from the streets.

• Third, we will put together a petition. This is the last step because we need as many people as possible to sign this, and the only way we can ensure it’s success is if people (1) know about it, (2) want a park, and (3) that the proposal meets their needs.

This page is where you’ll find all the information about our current activities, where you’ll have access to various resources, and where you can find ideas on the different ways to get involved with the Greystones Park campaign. It’s divided into three sections.‍ ‍

1. Current activities. This is will include information on all ongoing activities and how you can help.

2. Upcoming events and activities. This will include sign up sheets for specific events you’re available to help with. We will send emails that calls for volunteers for specific events. If you see an event you’re available to help for or have an interest in, this is where you head.

3. Easy ways to get involved from home. Here we include flyers that you can print off to put up in local businesses, social media posts for you to share and our common drive drop.
